About the Event
Join us on the 4th Saturday of every month for a virtual Community Conversation.
What to expect:
- Meet the hosts
- Brief overview of Tri-Town Against Racism and the purpose of the monthly conversation.
- Open floor for community members to share pressing issues they are dealing with related to racism and discrimination.
- Group discussion on possible solutions and support mechanisms.
- Open discussion on how to get involved and any new ideas for volunteer initiatives.
Registration is required. The link will be emailed to you a few days prior to the meeting date. We can't wait to engage in conversation with you!
Please see the following guidlines for participation.
Respect and Courtesy: Treat all participants with respect and courtesy. Listen actively and speak without interrupting. Personal attacks, hate speech, and discriminatory remarks are strictly prohibited.
Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal stories or information outside the group without permission.
Constructive Engagement: Focus on constructive dialogue. Aim to contribute positively to the conversation. Offer solutions and support rather than just highlighting problems.
Equal Opportunity to Speak: Allow everyone a chance to speak. Do not dominate the conversation. Use the “raise hand” feature (if available) to indicate you wish to speak.
Stay on Topic: If there are additional topics you wish to discuss, suggest them during the open discussion period.
