This site is owned and operated by TTAR. Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. At TTAR, we want to make your experience online satisfying and safe.

INFORMATION TTAR GATHERS AND TRACKS


TTAR gathers three types of information about users:

  • Membership information needed to create your account (if applicable).

  • Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions to receive our electronic newsletters, to participate in our message boards or forums, to email a friend, and from participation in polls, incident reports, and surveys.

  • Information TTAR gathers through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites. This information allows us to tailor our content to readers’ needs better.

Under no circumstances does TTAR divulge any information about an individual user to a third party without their explicit consent.

Account Creation (where applicable)


During registration, the user must supply a username, password, and email address. Accounts are not required to view the site, but they are required to post in the forum.

Optional Voluntary Information


We offer the following services, which require some type of voluntary submission of personal information by users:

Message boards/forums policy: Users of the site’s Forums must register in order to post messages, although they needn't register to visit the site.

“Share” policy: Our site users can choose to electronically forward a link, page, or document to someone else by clicking the "share" icons. The user must provide their email address, as well as that of the recipient. This information is used only in the case of transmission errors and, of course, to let the recipient know who sent the email. The information is not used for any other purpose.

Polling: We may offer interactive polls to users so they can easily share their opinions with other users and see what our audience thinks about important issues. Opinions or other responses to polls are aggregated and are not identifiable to any particular user. TTAR may use a system to “tag” users after they have voted so that they can vote only once on a particular question.

Surveys: TTAR may occasionally conduct user surveys to target our content to our audience better. Survey results may be occasionally be posted on our website, social media, or newsletters.

Incident reports: Voluntary information gathered through TTAR's "Discrimination Incident Report" is used to establish patterns, highlight deficits, and for confidential reporting purposes. TTAR is not affiliated with any government entity or official reporting authority, and completing this form does not replace reporting this incident to the establishment where the incident occurred. Your personal identifying information will NOT be shared outside of TTAR without your explicit consent through writing, although non-identifying details may be shared with the affiliated authority.

Usage Tracking


TTAR tracks user traffic patterns throughout our website. TTAR breaks down overall usage statistics according to a user's location and devices used (desktop or mobile). We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.

Children's Privacy: Our Service does not address anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and you know that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your information and your country requires consent from a parent, we may require your parent's consent before we collect and use that information.

Our donation form, provided through GiveButter, is protected by an SSL certificate. All your information is encrypted before being submitted. Information gathered by our donation platform will never be shared with a third-party vendor.

These sites are out of our direct control, and by visiting the Site, our Site visitors acknowledge this fact and accept any risks that may be incurred by visiting other sites.
