The Importance of Representation in Literacy

On November 14, 2022, Tri-Town Against Racism held a community discussion at Tabor Academy in Marion, on the importance of representation in literature.



The panel of librarians consisted of Laura Gardner (Dartmouth Middle School Librarian); Maura Deedy (Massachusetts Library Specialist); Kyle DeCicco-Carey (Library Director at Millicent Library); Allie Thiel (Children & Youth Services Librarian); and Ann Richard (Head Librarian at Tabor Academy).
